Newly appointed Kaizer Chiefs Football Club’s head coach Molefi Ntseki makes a promise to the club’s fans.
Ntseki first joined the Amakhosi family back in May 2021 on a three-year deal, as the club’s head of the Technical and Youth Development team.
His work in the club’s youth development system is evident, with the majority of the players in the senior team coming from the club’s development ranks.

But despite his success in the junior ranks, his appointment as the head coach came as a surprise.
Chiefs’ hierarchy was thought to be looking for more experienced coaches with an experience of having led a football club before.
The likes of former Young Africans head coach Nasreddine Nabi and Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mnqgithi were linked with the post.
However, the club decided to hand the reigns to former Bafana Bafana head coach, who quickly made a promise to the club’s faithful after his appointment.
NTSEKI’S PROMISE TO KAIZER CHIEFS FANS!
“I fully accept this huge responsibility that the Chairman, our Board of Directors, and the club have bestowed on me with humility and respect,” Ntseki said.
“I thank them for their confidence and belief in me to become the captain of the ship. I look forward to working with everyone involved in the technical team to bring joy to millions of Amakhosi supporters around the world.”
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF HIM!
Ntseki will be expected to help the club to end a trophyless run that is currently into its ninth year, as the club last won a trophy back in 2015.
