Mamelodi Sundowns legend, Lovers Mohlala is not happy with Stellenbosch star Junior Mendieta moving to Sundowns.
Mendieta is close to signing a three-year deal with Mamelodi Sundowns despite being linked with several clubs in the country.
The Brazilians have activated his release clause of around R10 million.
The Argentinean registered 10 goals and nine assits in 31 games for the Stellies last season.
Despite all that, former Sundowns star Lovers Mohlala does not believe he is the right player for the club.

Speaking to KickOFF, Mohlala feels the player will struggle at Sundowns due to competition.
He has to compete with the likes of Themba Zwane, Sphelele Mkhulise, Marcelo Allende, Nasir Abubeker, and Neo Maema for a starting place.
He further went on to say that he does not rate the player as he is average, and they are better players in the country.
The Sundowns legends closed his statement by saying that Mendieta is a Stellenbosch player and should not join Sundowns.
Meanwhile, the Brazilians are set to up their pursuit for Supersport United attacker Thapelo Maseko after completing the Mendieta deal.
But Sundowns will have to compete with overseas teams for his signature.
As various clubs across the globe are interested in the 20-year-old attacker.
