Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso backs his side to lift this season league championship despite dropping points against Golden Arrows.

The Brazilians went to their clash against Arrows with one hand on the Betway Premiership title.
After collecting a total of 54 points after 20 games to leave them a whopping 18 points over second place Orlando Pirates, having played four games less.
However, a draw with Arrows at Mpumalanga Stadium yesterday and Pirates beating Chippa 1-0 in Mbombela, Nelspruit has seen Pirates revive their league interest provided they win their games in hand which includes a date with Sundowns.

Despite Pirates gaining ground and mathematical still having a chance to lift the league, Sundowns’ head coach, Cardoso, believes his side will bounce back from the draw and become league champions for the eighth time in a row.
“I think we did enough goals to win the match. I think we scored four goals today, yeah?
“So I think we did enough to win the match,” Cardoso told SuperSport TV.
“The boys will lift themselves because they have strength for it.
“I just wanted to make it clear. In normal conditions, we will be champions again. In abnormal conditions, we will be champions.”
The Brazilians are next in action in the league next Tuesday, the 11th of March, at home(Loftus Versfeld Stadium) against AmaZulu FC.
