Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso indirectly confirms the exit of Lucas Ribeiro Costa from the club.

During a pre-match interview with SuperSport TV ahead of AmaZulu FC clash, Cardoso referred Ribiero as a past player for the club instead of a current one.
The Portuguese tactician was talking about the goal contributions Ribiero brought to his side and also how he was important to his team.
“On changes, Lucas [Ribeiro Costa] was a very important player on this team,” Miguel Cardoso told SuperSport TV.
“Not only by the numbers, but by the way he was able to put the team into play.
“We are trying to obviously collectively find solutions to deal with [his] absence.”
The 26-year-old attacker is reported to be on the brink to join Qatar-based club, Qatar SC, for a fee reported to be around 3 million US dollars(approximately R53.27 million).
Meanwhile, his teammates like Peter Shalulile, Thembinkosi Lorch, Khuliso Mudau, Kutlwano Letlhaku, and Thapelo Maseko are struggling to find ways out of the club.
The players have in recent times shown interest and asked the club to leave, to only be met with rejection or hefty price tags on their heads.
