The 24-year-old, who joined the Brazilians from SuperSport United in August 2022, has not been able to cement his place in the starting line-up, and is currently sidelined with an injury.

According to a source close to the Sundowns camp, Mbule has been showing a lack of work ethic and interest at training, which is frustrating the technical team, led by head coach Rulani Mokwena.

The source said that Mokwena and his assistants regard Mbule highly and see him as a key player for the future, but they are worried about his behaviour and attitude.

Mbule Needs To Change His Mindset

The source said that Mbule has the potential to become one of the best midfielders in the country, but he needs to change his mindset and listen to the advice of his coaches and senior players.

The source said that Mbule has become big-headed and does not want to learn from his mistakes.

“He is talented, but talent alone is not enough. He needs to work hard and be disciplined.

“He needs to respect the club and his teammates.

“He needs to realise that he is playing for one of the biggest teams in Africa, and he has a lot of competition for his position.

“He needs to show hunger and passion for the game,” the source said.

The source added that Mbule’s injury could be a blessing in disguise, as it could give him time to reflect on his career and make the necessary adjustments.

The source said that Mbule still has a bright future ahead of him, but he needs to act fast before it is too late.

“He still has time to turn things around. He is still young and he can learn from this experience.

“He can still achieve great things with Sundowns and with the national team.

“But he needs to take his career seriously and make the most of his opportunities.

“He needs to show the coach that he deserves to play,” the source concluded.
