Mamelodi Sundowns star ties the knot as the club is set to return to start their preparations for the 2025-2026 season.

After a long and tiring season, Sundowns stars like Teboho Mokoena and Grant Kekana were among a host of professional football personnel that attended the wedding celebrations of Sundowns fullback Aubrey Modiba.
The former SuperSport United star tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend in his home province of Limpopo this past Saturday a few days before returning to Chloorkop to start their preparations for the 2025-2026 season.
The 31-year-old will look to reclaim his spot in the starting eleven, having seen his spot taken by Zimbabwean international Divine Lunga in the last few matches.
With the 2025 African Cup of Nations on the horizon, Modiba will look to cement his place in the national team despite his struggles to get minutes at his club.
Meanwhile, his teammates Kobamelo Kodisang, Siphelele Mkhulise, Terrence Mashego, and Keagan Johannes are facing uncertain times at the club.
The trio is expected to be among the next batch of players to leave the club before the start of the new season.
