Mamelodi Sundowns star joins Dstv Premiership club, AmaZulu FC, ahead of the 2024-2025 season.

Since the conclusion of the 2023-2024 season Sundowns has seen up to seven players leave the club, as Gaston Sirino, Brian Onyango, Thabiso Kutumela, Bongani Zungu, Junior Mendieta, Jerome Karelse, and Promise Mkhuma have all left the club.

Despite the departure of the seven players, the club is expected to see more players head out of Chloorkop before the new season starts.
The latest to leave the club is the Nigerian striker, Etiosa Godspower Ighodaro, who is set for his fourth loan spell in as many seasons since joining Sundowns back in 2021.
According to Sportwire, the 23-year-old has joined Usuthu on a season-long loan, having spent the last three seasons out on loan at clubs like the University of Pretoria FC, Chippa United, and Supersport United respectively.
Meanwhile, the club is expected to lose another technical team member, as Michael Loftman is set to become the latest personnel who were part of Rulani Mokwena’s technical team to leave the club.

The former Orlando Pirates reserve team head coach is expected to form part of Mokwena’s technical team at Wydad Athletic Club.
