Mamelodi Sundowns star keeps on hinting at a move to rivals Kaizer Chiefs as the 2025-2026 Betway Premiership season edges closer.

Ahead of the club’s pre-season camp in the Netherlands, Amakhosi was expected to announce the signing of Sundowns striker, Etiosa Ighodaro as he was among the name of the players whom the club was seeking Visas for.
However, the 24-year-old Nigerian didn’t travel with the club, nor was he announced as a new signing despite a video and images of him in the colours of the club.
Despite all of that, the club is still expected to announce him before the beginning of the new season, as the player continues to hint at the move.
Ighodaro has, in the last couple of weeks, given out hints on the move on his Instagram account, @etiosa_ighodaro, with the latest being one of the gestures Chiefs uses to greet their fans before every match.
The Naturena-based club uses the peace sign before every match or even among themselves whenever they meet to show their love and peace ways.
The burly striker took to his Instagram story to share an image of himself holding out the peace sign hinting that he is khosofied, especially given at the time his pictures and a video clip were leaked.
To add to his hints, his account has content involving games against Chiefs than any club, including his club, Sundowns, with whom he doesn’t have a single image or clip relating to the club.
