This result extends their unbeaten streak to 29 games, putting them on the cusp of achieving a historic feat.
Sundowns are now one game away from becoming the first team in the PSL era to go an entire season without losing a game.
This achievement would put them alongside European clubs Arsenal, Juventus, and Bayer Leverkusen, who have all accomplished this feat in their respective leagues.
The draw with TS Galaxy also sets a new PSL record for unbeaten away games, with Sundowns now having gone 27 games without a loss on the road since September 2022.
In those 27 games, they have won 19 and drawn eight.
Sundowns have not tasted defeat in the DStv Premiership this season and are the first PSL team to go unbeaten in their first 29 games of the league campaign.
