Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club Offers Supersport United around R20 million for the services of star player.

Supersport United star attacker Thapelo Maseko won the man of the match award against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Dstv Premiership this past season.

Mamelodi Sundowns tables an offer of  around R20 million for the services of Supersport United starlet, Thapelo Maseko.

The offer comes after Matsatsantsa rejected two offers from the Belgian club, KVC Westerlo.

Supersport rejected the offers due to them not meeting their valuation for the player.

But the Brazilians are leading the race for the South African international with their R20 million bid.

Despite not liking to beaten by overseas clubs for players, Maseko prefers an overseas move.

Which could see him not moving to Sundowns ahead of the 2023/2024 season.

But as things stand, Sundowns is leading the race for his signature and will likely get their man.

Maseko is contracted with Matsatsantsa until the end of 2024/2025 season, with the club having an option to extend the contract for a further two years.
