Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club is logged in a battle with Gift Leremi’s father over the late player’s assets.
According to the late Gift Leremi’s father, Robbie Leremi, Mamelodi Sundowns is sidelining him when it comes to his son’s estate.

Instead, the club is working with Gift’s, the then girlfriend, Mamello Ralematha.
Robbie is currently staying with one of Gift’s children, whom she can’t afford to pay for her school fees.
He insisted that he has been sending mails to the Motsepe and Sundowns’ head of legal team, Yogesh Singh, enquiring about the assests.
But nothing has been said and done about his inquiry, as the club continues to work with Mamello.
Robbie told Sunday World of how broken and hurt he is of not being able to pay his granddaughter’s school fees.
He has been staying with the teenager since the passing of Leremi back in September 2007 after a horrible car accident.
The former Orlando Pirates star left a will, and his brother, Jeffrey Leremi, was the executor of his estate and also custodian of his three children.
Sadly, one of his children, Mahlatse, passed on a year after Gift’s death.

“Gift had two kids with Mamello, who are Mahlatse and Kelebogile,” Robbie said.
“He also had another child, Lesedi, with Vuyokazi.

He further went on to state that he is struggling to pay R10,000 school fees for Lesedi, as well as preparing for her life after matric.
Speaking of the will, he sent it to the Master of High Court so that Gift’s estate could be opened.
But Mamello interdicted the mattter and claimed to be Gift’s spouse.
The signatures on Gift’s will were suspected by Mamello to not be authentic, but an expert said there are 50% chance of the signature being authentic.

He has since tried to contact Sundowns on multiple occasions regarding the issue, but with no success.

Meanwhile, Mamello refused to comment on the issue, as it might drive her crazy.
