Mamelodi Sundowns defender is linked with a possible return to Chippa United, as the club is expected to have a squad overhaul at the end of the season.

With the Brazilians head coach Miguel Cardoso expected to continue to cut down his squad, one of the club’s fullback Zuko Mdunyelwa is expected to be among the players shown the door by the Portuguese tactician.
Mdunyelwa, who joined Sundowns back in January 2024 from Chippa United, has struggled for game time at the club since his arrival with Khuliso Mudau, Thapelo Morena, and Keagan Johannes preferred ahead of him.
His outing against Sekhukhune United in the quarters of the Nedbank Cup was his nineth for the club in all competitions this season, opening doors to an unlikely return to the Chilli Boys.
