Pirates take on Sekhukhune United at the sold-out Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria this Saturday.

Despite training with the rest of the squad this week, the club’s head coach, Jose Riveiro, is not confirming Lorch’s availability.

The Pirates is struggling with a hip injury that saw him miss the Nedbank Cup semifinal clash against Kaizer Chiefs.

However, Lorch is likely to feature in the final, having played in Pirates’ last match against Amazulu FC.

The 29-year-old is having an injury hit season, having played 15 games, scoring 4 goals in all competitions.

Three of the four goals came in the three games he has played in the Nedbank Cup.

Lorch is the club’s leading goalscorer in the Nedbank Cup tournament and will look to add to his tally.

Speaking to media yesterday, coach Riveiro revealed that he has almost a fully fit squad going into the final.

The kick-off of the match is set for 6 pm and will be shown live on Dstv channels 191(SABC 1) and 202(Supersport PSL).
