Pirates star attacker Thembinkosi Lorch reportedly has information that could help him in court.
The 29-year-old was found guilty for assaulting his then girlfriend Fundiswa Mathithibala by the Randburg Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, the 5th of June 2023.
The incident took place on the 6th of September 2020, which was followed by the arrest a day later.

Lorch was later released on after paying bail of R2000.
Upon his release, he was given clear instructions not to make contact with Mathithibala.
But according to Sunday World, Mathithibala was allegedly living in his house after the arrest.
However, the Pirates star wanted to get an eviction letter to get her to leave.
But she told Lorch that she would leave after the star attacker paid her money back.
Lorch and his representatives informed Fundiswa that they would apply for an eviction order to kick her out.
Because the player could not live on the streets while she was in her house.
She is said to have replied by asking for the R140 000 loan back.

It is unclear whether he paid the money back or not.
But it is said he is going to use this information in court to try to reduce his sentence when he appears in court on the 23rd of July.
According to The South African, he will try to show the court that his relationship with Mathithibala was cordial and they supported each other, even financially.
Lorch’s lawyer, Pierre De Kock, denied knowing the information, but he will use it.
