Orlando Pirates Football Club attacker Thembinkosi Lorch is likely to miss the remainder of the season.
The 29-year-old missed the club’s last three matches against TS Galaxy, Royal AM, and Kaizer Chiefs.
Nyoso suffered a horrible hip injury in training a few weeks ago which has sidelined him for the club’s last three matches.
According to Phakhaaathi’s source at the club, the South African international is likely to miss the remainder of the season.
As the injury is more serious than they first thought it was and he is also likely to miss the Nedbank Cup final later this month.
The 2018/2019 Footballer and Player’s Player of the Season struggle with injuries continues, as he has managed to play 14 matches in all competitions this season.
Three of the matches came in the Nedbank Cup where he managed to score three goals.
Despite having talented attackers that can fill the void Lorch’s latest injury has created, his influence and experience will be missed.
However, he will be looking to return in time to help the club to win the Nedbank Cup and secure a CAF Champions League spot by finishing second in the Dstv Premiership.
