Mamelodi Sundowns veteran goalkeeper Denis Onyango.

A few days ago, the club’s head coach, Rulani Mokwena, announced that the club would look to make minor changes to their squad ahead of next season.

Last week, the club parted ways with Andile Jali after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract.

The latest players that are set to follow Jali out of the club are Gift Motupa and Hashim Domingo.

While Motupa learned his faith towards the end of the recently ended season, Domingo parts way with the club after failing to agree on a new deal.


His two year deal is set to expire on the 30th of this month and is free to sign with any club.

However, the club is looking to keep two of their goalkeepers.

Denis Onyango and Reyaad Pieterse are in talks with the club to extend their expiring contracts.

While Jody February is expected to be back from a loan spell at Amazulu FC, and Ricardo Goss will continue at Supersport United.

Another player Matsatsantsa is looking to keep is Grant Margerman.


As Gavin Hunt is looking to extend the middlefielder’s loan spell at Supersport beyond the recently ended season.

Meanwhile, talks of new addition at the club are still quiet ahead of the winter transfer market.

But they will be new arrivals before the start of the season 2023/2024.

The club’s head coach is also expected to sign a new deal with the club.

As his current deal expires at the end of next season.
