Mamelodi Sundowns’ right fullback Khuliso Mudau is believed to have penned a long-term deal at the club ahead of the new season.Â

Heading into the recently ended FIFA Club World Cup in the United States of America, Mudau was among the players that had uncertainty surrounding their futures at the club despite the club triggering a one-year extension option in his contract.
However, despite the extension being triggered, the player was linked with a move away from the club after his agent Steve Kapeluschnick revealed that the two parties were far from reaching an agreement on a contract.
A couple of weeks after Kapeluschnick’s statement, the player is reported to have put an ink on paper and signed a three-year deal(two years plus an option for a further year) with the Brazilians putting an end to rumours on his future.
The new contract will see the player stay at the club until the end of the 2027/2028 season should the club exercise the option to extend for a further year they hold in the deal.
His new deal has struck a blow to Zamalek SC and Esperance Sportive de Tunis, who are said to have looking to sign the South African international.
