Kaizer Chiefs Football Club played their first 2023/2024 pre-season this past weekend.

Amakhosi are currently enjoying their second phase of their 2023/2024 pre-season in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.

They started pre-season some three weeks ago at their home village in Naturena.

Having started pre-season almost a month ago, the club’s new head coach, Molefi Ntseki, had a chance to see his players in  action for the first time this past weekend.

The Naturena-based club played Mpumalanga based amateur club Razo Aces at Ingwenyama Lounge in White River, Mpumalanga, this past Sunday.

KAIZER CHIEFS VERSUS RAZO UNITED MATCH OUTCOME!

The match consisted of three halves, with each half consisting of 45 minutes.

Both clubs were looking to give most if not all the payers some action during the match.

However, the ametuer side was no match for Amakhosi on the day.

The Soweto giants thrashed Aces 5-2 to send a  message ahead of next season.

Goals from new signings Ranga Chivaviro, Mduduzi Mdantsane, and Daniel Edson Castillo Garcia along with a brace from Ashley Du Preez were enough to see Chiefs walk away with an impressive 5-2 victory.

The victory gives Ntseki and his new looking team confidence to build on going forward.

With the club expecting the former Bafana Bafana head coach to help the club regain their glory days.

He is currently assisted by the club’s former head coach, Arthur Zwane, and Dillion Sheppard.

They will look to help him to better what their outcomes from last season.

Meanwhile, the club is set to partways with their sixth player since the end of 2022/2023.

Austin Dube is set to leave the club to rejoin his former club, Richards Bay, after spending two disappointing seasons at Naturena.
