Four Kaizer Chiefs youngsters have been suspended and two fired by the club after they refused to carry out ball boy duties during the club’s Carling Knockout round of 16 clash against Amazulu FC at FNB Stadium late last month.

The club’s Dstv Diski Challenge side players Donay Jansen, Lungile Nkosi, Siyabonga Gumede and Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi are still serving their suspensions.

Kaizer Chiefs: Contracts Terminated

Puso Dithejane and Omega Mdaka, on the other hand, were severely punished as their contracts were terminated and Chiefs slapped R1,5 million price tags on them as training and development compensation amount.

Dithejane has joined TS Galaxy who are in the process of paying the fee and Mdaka is planning his next move.

The club’s decision to suspend and terminate the contracts of the players has been met with mixed reactions from fans and football enthusiasts.

Some have criticised the club for being too harsh on the players, while others have commended the club for taking a tough stance on discipline.
