Kaizer Chiefs is likely to add three more players to the club’s squad before the transfer window closes on the 22nd of September.

After a difficult 2024-2025 season, under the watchful eye of head coach Nasreddine Nabi, Kaizer Chiefs has managed to land the signatures of six players.
Thabiso Monyane, Paseka Mako, Nkanyiso Shinga, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Ethan Chislett, and Flàvio Silva officially joined the Naturena-based club this window.
Despite the six signings, Chiefs is expected to add no less than three players to their first-team squad, with two already having signed.
Asanele Velebayi and Luke Baartman signed contracts with Amakhosi after Cape Town Spurs were relegated to the amateur level of South African football, making the players free agent as per NSL rule.
However, Spurs has taken the duo alongside Liam Bern, who has signed for AmaZulu FC to the Premier Soccer League Dispute Resolution Chamber, citing that the players are still contracted to the club.
The outcome of the PSL DRC is likely to see Chiefs play R1.5 million for each player for development fee as per FIFA rules and get their men.
Chiefs is also in the market for a striker with Mamelodi Sundowns striker Etiosa Ighodaro, their main target.
But Ighodaro is not the only name the club is looking at as Nabi confirmed that his side is eyeing two strikers.
