Kaizer Chiefs is understood to set to offer versatile fullback Reeve Frosler a long-term deal, as the player’s current deal is heading for an end.

With Amakhosi expected to have another squad overhaul at the end of the season as the club continues to struggle, a number of out of contracts players are expected to leave.

Former now-defunct Bidvest Wits fullback, Frosler is one of the players that are in their last three months of their contracts at Naturena, and unlike most of his teammates he is set to stay beyond the current season.
According to our sources close to the club, the 27-year-old’s agency is in talks with Chiefs’ hierarchy over a possible new long-term deal.
Chiefs is believed to have tabled a three-year deal with the first two years straight and one optional.
The new deal will see the reported Mamelodi Sundowns target stay at Phefeni until the end of the 2027/2028 season should the club exercise its one-year option.
Meanwhile, his teammates like Happy Mashiane, Zitha Kwinika, Sabelo Radebe, Ranga Chivaviro, and Bongani Sam are expected to be shown the exit doors at the end of the season.
