Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly looking to send their young striker Wandile Duba on loan to a lower division club.
The 19-year-old has struggled to adapt to the top-tier level and has not featured for the first team this season.
Duba’s Impressive Rise In The DDC
Duba was promoted to the senior squad towards the end of last season, after he impressed with his goal-scoring abilities in the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC).

He scored 12 goals in 15 games for the Chiefs’ reserves and earned a few appearances for the first team.
However, he has not been able to replicate his form in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) and has been relegated to the DDC again this season.
Duba’s Loan Move To Gain More Experience
According to The Citizen insider, the management of Kaizer Chiefs believes that Duba needs more regular game-time and experience to develop his skills and confidence.
They have decided to loan him out to a club in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, which is the second tier of South African football.
The insider said: “We’ve all seen how difficult it has been for him to adjust at the top level, but, it is not a big issue. He just needs some regular game-time and he will be okay.
“The management believe he will be able to get to his best.”
It is said that there was a plan to loan out Duba at the start of the season, but they could not find a suitable team for him.

They have now identified a club that will give him enough playing time and exposure.
Duba is expected to join his new club soon and will hope to return to Chiefs as a better player.
He is still regarded as one of the most promising talents in South African football and has a bright future ahead of him.
