Kaizer Chiefs is told to sign Zakhele Lepasa after the attacker parted-ways with Orlando Pirates after more than eight years at the club.

This past week, the Buccaneers announced the departure of the striker after the South African Football Association(SAFA) hinted that the player might be a free agent.
The 28-year-old’s departure from the Soweto giants didn’t come as a shock to many, as he hasn’t played a competitive match for the club for well over a year due to a persistent knee injury.
However, with Amakhosi seemingly struggling to find a regular goal-scoring striker, former Chiefs defender Mokete Tsotetsi has tipped the club to sign the South African international.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma, Tsotetsi insisted that Lepasa is not a Pirates reject as his absence was due to injuries, and now that he has recovered, Chiefs should consider him given his qualities in front of goals and also that the club didn’t get Nkanyiso Mayo.
He further went to state that he would do well at Naturena if they were to sign him, but the decision solely relies on the type of striker the club’s head coach Nasreddine Nabi wants.
At the moment, the club is looking to sign another striker despite having three strikers, Wandile Duba, Flàvio Silva, and Tashreeq Morris ahead of the new season.
Mamelodi Sundowns striker Etiosa Ighodaro is rumoured to be among names the club is looking to bring in.
