Over the years, Chiefs has signed a multiple of Sundowns players on a free transfer after their contracts at Chloorkop came to an end.

With the 2024-2025 season just less than four months from coming to an end, there are up to 11 players at Sundowns whose contracts are coming to an end, opening up opportunities for Chiefs to land a number of them.
According to our sources, Amakhosi is eyeing to sign the duo of Siphelele Mkhulise and Divine Lunga.
While Lunga still has a year left in his contract at the club, Mkhulise is in his final months of his contract at the club and is likely to leave the Pretoria-based club.
