Kaizer Chiefs is understood to have tabled an improved bid for Azam FC middlefielder Feisal Salum.

The 26-year-old middlefielder has been one of the club’s targets for a couple of years now, as the club sees him as one of the players that could help to change the fortunes at Naturena.
After the reported initial offer believed to be around R5 million was rejected by Azam FC, Amakhosi’s hierarchy is said to have tabled an improved offer according to Rwandan journalist Eric Ndagijimana of Rwanda Broadcasting Agency.
Ndagijimana reports that Chiefs have tabled an offer after the club’s head coach Nasreddine Nabi had a meeting with the player to convince him to join the Soweto giants.
“Kaizer Chiefs have officially made an offer to Azam FC for Feisal Salum after his meeting with Nabi,” Eric Ndagijimana stated on his X account.
Meanwhile, Azam’s hierarchy has also tabled a two-year contract to the Tanzanian international, as his current deal with the club is set to expire in June 2026.
However, Salum is expected to turn it down, as he is believed to have told the club know of his intention to leave the club.
