Over the years, Kaizer Chiefs has produced the likes of club captain Itumeleng Khune, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Zitha Kwinika, and most recently Mduduzi Shabalala.

The club’s development structure is ranked among the best in the country, if not Africa.

Every year, it produces top talented young players who have the potential to become top players in the country.

The likes of Jabu Mahlangu and Doctor Khumalo are some of the legendary players the club’s development has produced.

KAIZER CHIEFS STAR JOINS AMAZULU!

The latest player to fail to make the grades at Chiefs is Mthokozisi Maseko after the youngster joined Amazulu FC.

The 18-year-old attacker scored 20 goals in 27 games for Chiefs under-17 side before being promoted to the under-19 side earlier this year.

But after failing to make the Chiefs’ Dstv Diski Challange side, he has joined Usuthu’s DDC side for the 2023/2024 season.

The DDC season starts in September 2023 and will run until late April to early May 2024, depending on the fixtures.

Maseko will look to follow in the footsteps of players that thrived in their careers after leaving the club.
