Going into the 2023/2024 pre-season, Kaizer Chiefs was expected to make notable changes in their squad after a dismal 2022/2023 season.

Having already seen the demise of Eric Mathoho and Cole Alexander, the club is expected to show a few more players the exit door before the season starts.

Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana and Austin Dube lead the list of players expected to leave the club.
The pair are yet to report for pre-season duties.
The likes of Kgaogelo Sekgota and Sabelo Radebe are also likely to leave the club before the 2023/2024 season starts.

According to Austin Dube’s agent, Michaels Basia, the player is discussing a way out of his contract with the club.
Basia confirmed to SABC journalist Mazola J Molefe that his client has yet to report for pre-season due to looking for a way out of Naturena.
“Yes, Mazola, you are correct, Austin hasn’t been part of the group that started training this week,” says Michaels Basia.
“It’s the unfortunate side of football, but it’s [the] reality of the game.”

The 29-year-old is expected to rejoin his former club, Richards Bay.
The KwaZulu-Natal based club is facing competition from TS Galaxy for the services of lanky central defender.
Amakhosi are likely to pay him out of the club like they did with Cole, as he still has a year left in his contract.
