One of the few setbacks that Kaizer Chiefs has suffered this season is the unavailability of several key players due to injuries.

Ashley Du Preez, Edmilson Dove, and Keagan Dolly all went into the season carrying knocks, with the last two yet to feature this season.

However, the club seems closer to having a clean bill of health.

Dolly missed the latter part of last season’s action due to a knee injury he suffered against Sekhukhune United back in April.

However, Dolly was discovered to have torn his ACL and was expected to miss around six to nine months.

The 30-year-old seems to have taken a huge step in returning to action quicker than many would have thought.

As in his fourth month of rehabilitation, the former Mamelodi Sundowns is back in full training.

The club’s vice captain was spotted in training yesterday alongside his teammates in Naturena, preparing for TS Galaxy clash.

Amakhosi takes on Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, on Sunday, the 19th of August 2023.

The match kicks off at 3 pm South African time and will be televised live on Dstv Channel 202(Supersport PSL) for South African viewers.

Meanwhile, the club parted ways with striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana after a season at the club.

The Burindian International joined Chiefs back in August 2022 and had a good start to live at the club.
