One of the men the club looked at to replace Zwane was the former Yanga head coach Nasreddine Nabi.

After winning back to back treble with the Tanzanian club, many thought he was going to get the job after deciding not to sign a new deal with Yanga.

But after weeks of negotiations, Amakhosi decided against hiring him and announced their Head of Technical and Development Team Molefi Ntseki as the new coach.

Demoting Zwane back to his former position as an assistant coach alongside Dillion Sheppard.

According to SABC Sport senior journalist Mazola Molefe, Amakhosi didn’t have enough money to bring Nabi to Naturena, and the club wanting to keep Zwane was also the problem.

With the club liking to keep their issues in-house, Nabi, talking to media about where the deal is at might have also played a part in the club taking another route.

But the Tunisian tactician’s son Ahmed Nabi thinks the club toyed and played with his dad.

“Kaizer Chiefs have no personality. If they had personality, it would be better if they didn’t lie to my father to leave Yanga,” Ahmed Nabi said.

“It is better if the[my] returns to Tanzania. He should just come back to be an assistant coach at Young Africans instead of going to Azam Fc.”

However, the Professor is not short of suitors, as Arabian and African clubs are chasing after his signature.
