Kaizer Chiefs is reported to have inquired about the availability of Mamelodi Sundowns star attacker ahead of the transfer window.

With both the Brazilians and Amakhosi set to have a squad overhaul ahead of the 2025-2026 season, the latter is eyeing several players from the former to strengthen their squad.
One of the players the club is said to be looking to sign from their arch-rivals is former Bloemfontein Celtic attacker Neo Maema.
According to sources near the club, Chiefs have inquired about the availability of the 29-year-old who is among the players who have struggled for game time this season at the club.
With his contract set to expire at the end of next season and not promised to get any game time at the club, the Naturena-based club is likely to land the South African international.
Meanwhile, Maema is among the Sundowns players that are set to be part of the upcoming 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, which starts next week in the United States of America.
Whether he will follow in the footsteps of the likes of Khama Billiat, Keagan Dolly, and, most recently, Gaston Sirino in moving from Chloorkop to Naturena will be determined after the Club World Cup.
