Meanwhile, the club is set to partways with their sixth player ahead of next season.

Austin Dube is set to join to leave Chiefs with a year left on his initial three-year contract at the club.

He is linked with a move back to Richards Bay.

The likes of Njabulo Ngcobo and Happy Mashiane may follow Dube out of the club.

Should they fail to impress Chiefs’ technical team this pre-season, they will likely leave.

Chiefs’ head coach, Molefi Ntseki, is giving the players a chance to fight for their places at the club for next season.

But at this stage, it’s difficult to see the staying beyond next season if they are given another chance.
