According to Kaizer Chiefs’ hierarchy, most clubs are not willing to sell some of their players to the club.
It’s either they overprice the players or offer them to overseas clubs to avoid selling the players to Amakhosi.
Sentiments that the club’s Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung, shared during her interview with veteran sports presenter Robert Marawa.

The former model was part of the MSW show yesterday evening alongside the club’s new signing, Given Msimango to promote the new Kappa jerseys the club recently unveiled.
“My plea to our supporters is to trust us,” Motaung said on MSW.
“Some Players are not available when we want to buy them. For example, Khanyisa Mayo, who wouldn’t want him?
“His father played for Chiefs, but his team(Cape Town City) had other plans.
“They decided to renew his contract or sell him abroad.”
Mayo is currently valued at around $2 million(R35 million) by City, a price Chiefs is not willing to pay.

Meanwhile, the club is still active in the market despite signing eight new players this transfer window market.
A few players are expected to join the club before the window closes in September.
