Mamelodi Sundowns veteran middlefielder Andile Jali is reportedly eyeing a move to his former club Orlando Pirates.

His contract is set to come to an end next month, and Jali is reportedly looking to return to his former club, Orlando Pirates.

The 33-year-old’s five year stay at Chlorkoop is coming to a sad end despite all the success.

Because he is forced to leave the club due to disciplinary issues.

Earlier this year, he stopped training with the team after arriving for training while intoxicated.

The club suspended him and let his contract run down and let him leave for free.

However, his agent Mike Makaab will meet Sundowns’ management to try to end the contract early.

To give Jali a chance to look for a new club ahead of the new season.

Despite Stellenbosch FC, Amazulu FC, and Cape Town City FC leading the chase for the South African international, Pirates seem to also be in the race.

Pirates’ town rivals, Kaizer Chiefs , are linked with the player as well, but Jali prefers Pirates move.

Jali spent five years between 2009 and 2014 at Pirates before moving to Belgium.

He had a chance to rejoin Pirates back in 2018 but couldn’t reach an agreement with the club.

This time around, he is hopeful of rejoining his former club.
