Ahead of a packed 2023/2024 season, Orlando Pirates made a handful of signings to help with the number of matches they will play during the season.

One of the signings that the Soweto giants pulled of this window is that of Karim Kimvuidi from Maritzburg United.
The Buccaneers beat the challenge from Mamelodi Sundowns and overseas clubs for the signature of the 21-year-old player.
However, despite the club announcing its agreement with Maritzburg United weeks ago, the player was yet to seal his move.

Kimvuidi was back in his home country of the Democratic Republic of Congo to fix his passport issues ahead of a move to Pirates.
The passport he was using was set to expire at the beginning of next year(2024), and he now has a new one.
He was among his teammates yesterday, preparing for their second match of the 2023/2024 season.
Pirates host Royal AM at Orlando Stadium in Soweto, Johannesburg, on Tuesday, the 8th of August 2023.
The Dstv Premiership match will be aired live on Dstv Channel 202(Supersport PSL).
The kick-off is set for 7h30 pm South African time.

Meanwhile, two of the players the club released at the end of last season are having trials at Amazulu FC.
Collins Makgaka and Tebogo Tlolane are currently training with Usuthu hopeful of landing contracts at the club.
At this moment, it is likely that they will get the move to Amazulu.
