Romanian giants FSCB go after Kaizer Chiefs duo after signing Siyabonga Ngezana.

Earlier this month, Kaizer Chiefs announced the sale of their versatile defender Siyabonga Ngezana to Romanian giants Football Club FCSB.

The hard-tackling defender left Amakhosi after seven seasons at the club for a reported fee of R12 million.


The Romanian powerhouse is not rumoured to be interested in two more Chiefs players after signing Ngezana.

According to Soccer Laduma, FSCB is interested in bringing both Ashley Du Preez and Reeve Frosler to join their former teammate in Romania.

Both players were an important part of Chiefs’ head coach Arthur Zwane’s squad last season, despite injury filled season.

Having paid R12 million for Ngezana, they will be expected to pay more for the duo due to long-term contracts at Naturena.

The UEFA Conference League side will have to move quickly if they want to sign the players before their league season begins in mid-July.


Meanwhile, the club is having difficulties in sealing a deal with former Young Africans head coach Nasreddine Nabi.

The deal is reported to be 90% done, but the club is reluctant to meet his demands to have most of his coaching staff in the club’s technical team.
