Ever since the conclusion of a poor 2022/2023 season, Kaizer Chiefs Football Club has been in search of a new coach.
The club is looking to replace Arthur Zwane after a poor first season in charge of the first team.

Under Zwane, the club finished lowly fifth in the Dstv Premiership while getting knocked out in the semifinals of the Nedbank Cup and MTN8 competitions.
Former Young Africans head coach Nasreddine Nabi is the club’s main target.
The two parties are at a standstill when it comes to the terms of technical staff.

But they are close to reaching an agreement, and an announcement is expected before the end of the month.
Despite the announcement of Nabi as Chiefs’ head coach imminent, French coach Fernando Da Cruz is eyeing the job.

The 50-year-old is using an unnamed agent in the country to familiarise himself with the club and culture.
He is currently a free agent after being fired by ASFAR Rabat back in May.
