Amakhosi’s preparations have been hampered by injuries to some of their top players during pre-season.
Keagan Dolly and Ashley Du Preez went into the pre-season carrying injuries from last season.
Dolly will definitely miss the start of the season, as he is yet to take part in full training due to a knee injury.

Meanwhile, Du Preez played the less than 20 minutes of Chiefs’ last match before the new season, and he is facing a late fitness test.
