There are not many players in the country who can say they have played two of the two teams in South African football, Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.

But former Colorado Springs Switchbacks star George Lebese can claim that.
The 34-year-old played for Chiefs for nine years between 2008 and 2017 before joining his hometown club, Sundowns, later in 2017.
His two year stay at the Brazilians was fruitless, as he was loaned out to Supersport United in 2019 before he was later released.
He went to America to join Colorado Springs Switchbacks in 2020 but had to return to the country due to the covid-19 outbreak.

His return to South Africa has been a successful one business wise, while his footballing career seems to be coming to an end.
After failing to agree terms with Moroka Swallows and Chippa United upon returning to South Africa, Lebese is focusing on his businesses.
He has a clothing brand called Assets Clothing and two nnightclubscalled Seventeen Lifestyle in both Pretoria and Mbombela.

Despite his success in the business world, the 34-year-old still has his love for Amakhosi.
TS Galaxy hosted Chiefs in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, this past weekend(20th August 2023), a town where Lebese is currently situated.
He shared an image on his Instagram story @gl_17 wearing Chiefs’ new Kappa home kit alongside his friend.
They were among thousands of Chiefs supporters in the stands during the club’s defeat.
Despite the support of their former player, Chiefs suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat after an own goal from their goalkeeper, Brandon Peterse, early in the second half.
