Former Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper coach joins AmaZulu FC after Usuthu’s goalkeeper coach resigned sighting personal reasons.

The KwaZulu-Natal based club has added the much-needed experience to head coach Arthur Zwane’s technical team by bringing in former Sundowns goalkeeper coach Wendell Robinson.
Wendell spent more than 10 years at Chloorkop winning a handful of trophies before parting ways with the Brazilians earlier this season.

His move to Usuthu comes after former Richards Bay FC goalkeeper coach Aubrey Vilakazi decided to resign due to personal reasons.
“AmaZulu Football Club has accepted the resignation of Goalkeeper Coach Aubrey Vilakazi, who is stepping down with immediate effect due to personal reasons,” AmaZulu statement stated.
“Vilakazi was promoted to first-team goalkeeper coach last year after previously serving with the reserve team.
“The club expresses its gratitude for his dedication and contributions during his tenure and wishes him success in his future endeavours.
“Following his departure, the club has appointed Wendell Robinson as the new Goalkeeper Coach.
“Robinson brings extensive experience to the role, having previously worked with Mamelodi Sundowns and the South African national team.”
