Speaking at yesterday’s Marawa Sports Worldwide show, the former Supersport United middlefielder Thuso Phala announced his retirement from the game.

The 37-year-old calls his time on his career, having played for clubs like Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, and now-defunct Platinum Stars, to name a few.

His career lasted 17 years, as he made his debut in the professional game back in 2006 at the then Silver Stars.
Meanwhile, his last game came in the season 2019/2020 for Black Leopards before he went clubless for three years before retiring.

He is expected to continue playing part in the world of football by helping to groom the next generation of players.
