Instabulspor star Djakaridja Junior Traore scored his first goal for his new club in a 2-1 victory over Ankaragücü in a Turkish Süper Lig clash on Sunday.

Instabulspor star attacker Djakaridja Junior Traore dedicates his goal to his injured former teammate Bernard Parker.

The 25-year-old dedicated his 12th minute goal to his former teammate Bernard Parker by using his trademark goal celebration.

A gesture of support for Parker

Traore and Parker played together at TS Galaxy this season before Traore left for Turkey.

Parker suffered a broken leg injury at the hands of Bongani Zungu during a Carling Knockout round of 16 clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and TS Galaxy this past Wednesday, the 18th of October.

The injury is expected to sideline him for several months.

Traore showed his support for his former teammate by imitating Parker’s signature celebration, which involves brushing your elbow.

Parker took to his Instagram story to thank the attacker for the gesture, saying “One love, thank my brother Junior”.

A promising start

Traore joined Instabulspor from Galaxy in July this year.

He has made three appearances so far in the league, scoring one goal.

Traore’s goal helped Instabulspor secure their first win of the season, lifting them to 19th place in the Süper Lig table with five points from eight games.

They will face Kasimpasa in their next match on Saturday, the 27th of October.
