European clubs show interest in one of Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club’s captains, Themba Zwane, ahead of the new season.
In the last ten seasons, there have not been many players in the top-tier of South African football that have shown consistent top performances like Mamelodi Sundowns attacker, Themba Zwane.

Mshishi’s consistency at the top level sees him among the top players to ever play the game in the country.
But the veteran Sundowns star seems to get better with age, as his performances lately have attracted teams abroad.
THEMBA ZWANE HEADING TO EUROPE?
The Brazilians spent the last weeks in the Netherlands preparing for the 2023/2024 season.
According to our source close to the club, Zwane impressed the scouts of European clubs, and they are considering making a move for him.

“Sundowns had a very productive trip to Europe that saw them go unbeaten the whole tour,” the source said.
“European scouts were impressed with how the club is performing, and they liked (Themba) Zwane more.
“Scouts from England, Spain, and even Belgium are in awe because of his technical abilities.
“Sundowns is expected to receive offers soon.”
But it is unlikely that Sundowns will let the 33-year-old go even if the offer is enticing.

The squad is built around him, and his age could also be a factor in the player making a decision to move to Europe.
However, with new talent, at the club growing rapidly, Zwane might want to go and test himself in Europe before calling time on his career.
