Up to eleven players are linked with a possible exit from Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the season, as the club is set for another squad overhaul.

After Chiefs’ head coach Nasreddine Nabi decided not to make drastic changes to the club’s squad heading into the current season, the club is expected to have a squad overhaul heading into next season.

Up to seven-plus players are expected to leave the club after the Tunisian tactician had a good look at them heading into the current season.

1. Fiacre Ntwari

Rwandan International struggled to cement his place as the club’s number one after starting the season in goals for Amakhosi.

Having only joined the club at the beginning of the current season, he is expected to be shown the exit door with Chippa United’s shot-stopper Stanley Nwabali expected to replace him.

2. Bongani Sam

Unlike Ntwari, who was given a chance to cement his place at the club, the former Orlando Pirates defender will leave the club without making a single official appearance for the club.

The club is currently looking to sign a specialist left fullback, and Stellenbosch FC vice-captain Fawaaz Basadien is linked with a move to Naturena.

3. Happy Mashiane

The club’s development graduate has failed to cement his place at the club for the last six years and is another left fullback who is expected to leave.

4. George Matlou

Matlou is in his final three months of his contract at Naturena, and the club is yet to make contact with the player’s agency to discuss his future.

He is expected to leave the club, and clubs like SuperSport United, Stellenbosch FC, and Cape Town City FC are said to be interested in his services.

5. Sabelo Radebe

Radebe is another Chiefs development graduate who failed to live up to expectations at the club, and he is currently struggling to get game time on loan at Richards Bay FC, making it hard to see him at Naturena beyond the current season.

6. Zitha Kwinika

The versatile defender has struggled for game time at the club, and being in his last months of his contract at the club, he is expected to leave once it runs out.

7. Ranga Chivaviro

The striker has struggled to find goals in the seasons he has been at the club, and despite Nabi being fond of the player, he is expected to leave the club as Chiefs are in the market looking for a striker despite signing Tashreeq Matthews in January.

Sibongiseni Mthethwa, Brandon Petersen, Christian Saile, Bontle Molefe, and Donay Jansen are facing uncertain times at the club as well and could as well leave at the end of the season.
