Eleven Mamelodi Sundowns players facing uncertain times at the club, as they enter their last months of their contracts.

With the new head coach, Miguel Cardoso, in the hotseat, the club is expected to make decisions on the eleven players that their contracts are in their last few months.

IN OTHER NEWS: Another Supersport United Starlet Joins Mamelodi Sundowns 

While first team stars like Themba Zwane, Khuliso Mudau, Peter Shalulile, Marcelo Allende, and  Mothobi Mvala are expected to stay at the club beyond the current season.

The arrival of players like Lucas Suarez, Keanu Cupido, Jayden Adams, and the return of Matías Esquivel from a loan spell in Argentina leaves no less than six players’ futures in jeopardy.

Divine Lunga, Terrence Mashego, Jody February, Siphelele Mkhulise, Mosa Lebusa, Sipho Mbule and Rivaldo Coetzee’s futures are hanging on a thread, as they are likely to see their contracts not extended beyond the current season.

But all the decisions lie in the hands of the club’s coaching staff and technical team led by Cardoso and Sporting Director Flemming Berg.
