Kaizer Chiefs may have their star attacker Ashley Du Preez back from injury for their match against Cape Town Spurs on Wednesday.
Ashley Du Preez: Injury Woes
Du Preez joined Chiefs from Stellenbosch FC back in 2021 and has been a key player for them.
This season, he has scored three and provided two assists in 11 appearances.
However, he got injured going into the Amazulu FC clash and missed the last two matches against Amazulu FC and Lamontville Golden Arrows.
Chiefs lost both matches without him.
Hint of Recovery
Chiefs hinted a possible return for the attacker when they announced the Spurs clash.
They used Du Preez’s picture in the post announcing the club’s match with Spurs, and they usually used players who would feature in the match in the post.

If he returns, he will boost Chiefs’ attack and help them get back to winning ways.
Behind Closed Doors
The match will be played in an empty stadium, as fans are banned from attending the match.
This is because of the PSL imposed stadium ban after the fans’ misconduct in matches against TS Galaxy, Supersport United, and Amazulu.
