Dstv Premiership: Spurs Claim First Win Of The Season
Cape Town Spurs recorded their first victory in the DStv Premiership since gaining promotion from the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
They defeated Orlando Pirates 2-1 at DHL Stadium on Wednesday night.
Spurs took the lead in the 3rd minute through Lubeni Haukongo.
Jarrod Moroole doubled their advantage in the 13th minute.
Pirates pulled one back in the 43rd minute when Evidence Makgopa.
However, they could not find an equaliser as Spurs held on for a historic win.

The result see Spurs remain 16th on the log with three points from nine games.

Lyle Lakay opened the scoring for Matsatsantsa in the 7th minute before Higor Vidal equalised for Galaxy in the 9th minute.
Lakay levelled score for SuperSport in the 26th minute after Lehlogonolo Mojela gave Galaxy the lead in the 20th minute.
The game was decided in the 76th minute when Bradley Grobler.
SuperSport climbed to second place on the log with 22 points from 10 games.
Galaxy remained in 8th place with 12 points from 10 games.
