Cole Alexander is reportedly still a Kaizer Chiefs Football Club player despite the club announcing his departure.
Last week, Kaizer Chiefs announced the termination of central middlefielder Cole Alexander.
After spending two of his supposed three seasons at the club.
The former Supersport United was brought to the club by Stuart Baxter back in 2021.
Signing a three-year with the Soweto based club, which was to expire at the end of the 2023/2024 season.
However, his poor form and injury problems at the club have limited his playing time.
This led to him being among the first names the club looked to release at the end of the 2022/2023 season.

According to Phakhaaati’s source close to the player, Amakhosi announced the player’s departure with talking to his representatives.
SOURCE’S WORDS!
“I don’t know why they announced his departure without talking to his management,” the source said.
“If Cole wants, he can at the club for a year and get his salary, but at his age of 33, he needs to be playing.”
“Stellenbosch have[has] also enquired about him, but Supersport United would be ideal because he played well under Gavin Hunt, but the other problem is that he would have to payout when he leaves Chiefs.”
