Kaizer Chiefs Football Club fans are calling for the club to award Dstv Diski Challenge(DDC) star Mfundo Vilakazi a first-team contract.
The 17-year-old attacker is knocking hard on the first-team door ever since his former captain and teammate Mduduzi Shabalala joined the first team fully back in January.
Vilakazi has taken over as the club’s star attacker and his performances in the last five matches have shown that he is pushing to become part of the first team soon.
South African Youth International has managed to find the net 8 times in the last five matches with his latest strike coming against Amazulu Football Club in a 2-0 win for Chiefs.
Goal SA journalist Austin Ditlhobolo has called for the club to give the youngster a first-team contract, as he has shown that he is ready to rub shoulders with the senior players.
Vilakazi will look to end the season on a high next week when they take on league champions Supersport United Football Club.
The two sides will face each other at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg next Saturday with the match set to kick off at 10 am.
