Kaizer Chiefs’ under-13 side thumps Joburg City’s under-13 side 6-0 in a Gauteng Development League(GDL) match.
Chiefs continue their quest to lift GDL trophies at the end of the season today at their home village in Naturena.
With four matches set to be played, first on the pitch is the under-13s.
Amakhosi’s u13 side is in good form, as they top their division with 29 points after 12 matches.

While their opponents Joburg City sit 12th with 11 points after 10 matches and are hopeful of causing an upset.
Like in their previous match against Mamelodi Sundowns Chiefs started the match on the forefront.
They brushed aside the poor City side, as they thump City 6-0 to continue their good form in the league.
The victory sees them extend their lead at the top of the table to six points over second-place TS Galaxy with 32 points after 13 matches.

Chiefs’ under-15 side also manage to beat the Citizens 4-3 following the under-13’s victory.
The under-17 and 19 matches are to follow and wrap up Chiefs’ matchday 13 in the GDL.
Victories in all four divisions put Chiefs in a prime position to lift league championships at the end of the season.
