Kaizer Chiefs star Edson Garcia Castillo has recently received an important call from his national club to participate in the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers to take place month end.
The Venezuelan midfielder Edson Castillo who has been on top of his game ever since joining Kaizer Chiefs in July has been included on the squad that will play the 2026 FIFA world cup qualifiers.
Castillo has joined Kaizer Chiefs on a free transfer after his contract with Monagas FC has ended.
He has already played 14 games in all competitions with Kaizer Chiefs and managed to score four(4) goals in DStv premiership and MTN8 Cup against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Kaizer Chiefs to Resume Dstv premier league with Cape Town Spurs
Amakhosi are still hoping for a great results after partying ways with their recent head coach Molefi Ntseki who replaced Arthur Zwane.
Chiefs will return in action against the struggling Cape Town Spurs at FNB stadium this Wednesday night.
They will also host Orlando Pirates over the weekend on the first Derby game for the league this season.

Mamelodi Sundowns has suffered a 2-1 defeat by Wydad Cassablanca in African Football league final leg one.
This was after Rivaldo Coetzee has conceded an own-goal which gave a lead to Wydad FC during the first 45 minutes of the game.
This has given Wydad a chance to enter the second leg with a 1-0 lead as an advantage before playing.
Should Mamelodi Sundowns fails to score and the games ends as 0-0, Wydad will be crown champions of AFL 2023.
